Cathy with a C is a true North American. She was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and studied at York University. She immigrated to the United States in 1992 and from 2008 to 2014 lived in Costa Rica on the Pacific Coast of Central America. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and Costa Rican rescue cat Athena. She enjoys writing, a good crossword puzzle, studying foreign languages, the New York Times Spelling Bee and is a founding member of the Memoir Network at the Atlanta Writer’s Club.
